Vaida is a designer with a mastery over aesthetics cultivated from her early days in arts school, a further degree in interior design and extensive field experience.
She started her career working for an award-winning international company based in Malaysia and went on to be a bespoke designer for high end luxury properties in London and France.
Unlike many interior designers, Vaida is also proficient in structural and technical elements such as bespoke joinery having spent three years working in construction. This background gives her a unique overview of each project helping her clients avoid hidden fees or issues with contractors. Alongside interior work, she also has a keen interest in exterior landscape design and is skilled in creating unique spaces that unify outdoor and indoor living.
Vaida is able to work with a wide range of clients ranging from families wanting domestic conversions through to large scale projects for HNW individuals.

James started his architectural career with the design and ‘hands on’ building of exquisitely detailed Buddhist temples.
He then worked for a number of years in high profile architectural practices in London. During this time James was involved in the design of several award-winning, educational and civic buildings, most notably the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, Coventry University Library, and UCL’s School of Slavonic Studies.
James went on to set up his own interdisciplinary practice and over the past nine years ago has developed a portfolio of high-quality projects on a range of scales.
Vaida Design Studio works closely with James on projects that require more architectural input.
